This is what stood out
The location is fantastic! It's just a short walk to famous attractions like Fisherman’s Wharf and the crooked part of Lombard Street. The motel offers affordable parking at $10, a deal in this area. Nearby Mel's Diner is a must-try for meals. Just manage your finances at the front desk for a smoother experience.

Walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, proximity to Lombard Street's crooked section, nearby Chinatown attractions
Charging a $100 deposit without prior notice feels excessive!!! Communication issues with staff and dirty common areas reflect lack of cleanliness. Maintenance needs attention, as broken facilities were inconvenient!!!

I loved how easy it was to stroll over to Ghirardelli Square and enjoy the waterfront views, and it was just a short walk to grab delicious eats at Amici's East Coast Pizzeria, perfect for a weekend foodie adventure.

good location , but payment issues were frustrating
The location was ideal for exploring attractions nearby. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. I appreciated the friendly staff who assisted with our inquiries. I also enjoyed walking through the neighborhood, which was vibrant and offered plenty of options for dining and activities.
There were significant problems with the payment process that left me feeling cheated.

missingWrote a review on Aug 14friendly staffclose attractionscomfortable roomearly housekeeping noise
I had a great time with my friends exploring the area! We visited the Aquarium of the Bay and took a nice walk through the neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind, there’s no breakfast at the motel, but plenty of spots nearby to grab a bite.
One downside was the early housekeeping. They started at 6am and were noisy, which made it hard to sleep in on our vacation. If you enjoy sleeping in, this could be an issue.

missingWrote a review on May 27decent bedcentral locationavailable parkingcramped roomstreet noise
The room was pretty cramped, definitely felt smaller than expected. The bed was decent, but the noise from the street was a big issue—I could hear trucks and cars all morning. The decor and furniture seemed a bit worn out, and the towels weren’t great either. Overall, it didn’t really feel super comfortable or clean, just kind of shabby.

Surprisingly clean and well-maintained for the price! I loved the small kitchen setup—definitely saved us some money. Plus, we enjoyed delicious burgers at the diner nearby.

missingWrote a review on Mar 24helpful staffaffordable parkingdirty motelindifferent staffbilling issues
A very disappointing experience. The cleanliness of the motel was lacking, with broken fixtures and general disrepair throughout the premises, making it feel unwelcoming. The staff seemed indifferent to guests' needs, leading to a frustrating atmosphere. On top of that, I encountered numerous issues with billing, as I was charged again despite having prepaid, which significantly soured my visit. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you're looking for a pleasant stay.

This place was just a suitable option for a quick layover in San Francisco with good price-value balance. The heater worked well enough to keep us warm despite the cold room. Bring extra blankets if you tend to get chilly at night.
